Janet Clark is Emeritus Professor and Chair of Political Science at the University of West Georgia. She received her PhD from the University of Illinois. She has published 4 books and 80 articles and book chapters She is the co-author of Women, Elections, and Representation (Longman, 1987), Women in Taiwan Politics (Rienner, 1990), and The Social and Political Bases for Women's Growing Political Power in Taiwan (Maryland Series in Contemporary Asian Studies, 2002). She has served as President of the Western Social Science Association and the Women's Caucus for Political Science and as the Editor of Women and Politics.
