About this eBook

This story follows fifteen-year-old London Finley, a vibrant young woman with spinal muscular atrophy (SMA), as she navigates the complexities of grief, faith, and self-discovery. Following the death of her father Darryl Finley , London is placed in a group home, a drastic change that shakes her world and challenges her already wavering faith. Angry and disillusioned, she struggles to understand God's plan for her life. Her vibrant red hair, freckled skin, and emerald, green eyes belie the turmoil within. The suggestion of attending Camp Care, a Christian camp for individuals with disabilities, feels like another hurdle. But it's there, amidst the challenges and triumphs of camp life, that London encounters Ty Lee Waverly, a sixteen-year-old counselor with an unwavering faith and a charming Southern accent.

Their initial clashes mask a burgeoning connection, a friendship that will profoundly impact London's life. Through shared experiences, laughter, and heartfelt conversations, Ty's steady belief helps London confront her doubts and rediscover the love and guidance of God. This is not simply a story about overcoming adversity; it's a journey of faith, friendship, and the blossoming of young love, all set against the backdrop of a supportive Christian community.

The story explores the realistic challenges of living with a disability, the complexities of grief, the honest struggles with faith, and the beautiful power of human connection. It's a story about finding strength in unexpected places, about embracing one's unique identity, and about the enduring presence of God's love, even amidst the storms of life. Join London as she embarks on a transformative summer, a summer that will redefine her understanding of faith, friendship, and herself
