About the author

Hello, my name is Carl Robinson and I am a fully qualified Senior Cardiac Physiologist specialising in Electrophysiology, ICD's and Cardiac Pacemakers. I have a passion for making some of the trickier topics in Cardiology simple so that people can have a better understanding of their heart condition. In a world where we are quickly becoming more responsible for our own health choices, the power of knowledge is vital and I am to make this knowledge as digestible as possible! My writing style is very relaxed, I have no time for jargon because not every one who has heart problems will be a trained Cardiologist. Instead I use language and analogies that anyone can understand.
