Loved it! I like that the Druid parts of the story didn't flounder into an MGM movie spectacle but gave a nice balance to the Romans part. Carys and Maximus were wonderful! can't wait to read the next book.

beautiful beautiful book!! such amazing and vivid descriptions of the culture and practices that may be ficticious but seemed so real and engrossing. I loved the narrative and wud like to believe that such cultures must have existed in the past.

Pure literature magic. (no pun intended) This is my first time reading Christina Phillips but it won't be my last! Romance, passion, suspense! The passion had me fanning myself and the betrayal had me biting my nails!
