It didn't matter that she belonged to another club brother first.
Biker.
Firefighter.
Brother.
I was all those things.
Never did I expect to add old man, husband, or father to the mix.
Not this soon.
From the moment I saw her, I knew things would be different. I knew she’d change everything.
Now, we just have to weather the storms she brought with her. Rains are supposed to put out the flame, but this time, I’m going to burn hot enough for the both of us.
This isn’t a retelling of our story.
This is me, explaining how she burned so brightly that I became the ash at her feet before rising in her arms as a new man.
A better man.
A biker, firefighter, brother, uncle, father, and hers forever.
