Any good Santa story is about the importance of giving and the warmth of love. The setting in Maine is special, for it is a place of history and a place where time moves at a gentle pace. For those whose do not know, a clamming hod is a simple slatted basket to hold clams.

O autoru

My wife, Karen, and I are now retired and living in Whitefish, Montana. Our two daughters and their families are in the east, where we grew up and spent most of our careers. I earned my bachelor of arts degree from Mount Union College and my master’s from the University of Pittsburgh. Half of my work life was as an art teacher. I have also designed adult home and nursing facilities. My final job was manager of a new performing arts center here in Whitefish for six years.
