John Woodward has written more than 40 books and hundreds of articles on all aspects of Earth sciences, environmental issues, and the natural world. He is the author of DK's Geography Children's Encyclopedia, Ocean Children's Encyclopedia, Online Encyclopedia Weather, Earth 3-D, and Knowledge Encyclopedia Animal.
