About the author
Conrad Ferdinand Meyer (1825–1898) ist neben Gottfried Keller und Jeremias Gotthelf einer der bedeutendsten Schweizer Autoren des Realismus. Mit seinen historischen Novellen und seinem Roman Jörg Jenatsch wurde er bekannt.
Philipp Theisohn, geb. 1974, ist Professor für Neuere deutsche Literatur und Direktor des »Zentrums für literarische Gegenwart« an der Universität Zürich.
