This book provides a comprehensive overview of quality assurance in Vietnamese higher education under the centralised management of the government after 15 years of development. By implementing quality assurance and accreditation mechanisms, the Vietnamese government expected to be able to control and improve the quality of the higher education system. About the author

Cuong Huu Nguyen is a quality assurance specialist of the Vietnam Education Quality Management Agency, Ministry of Education and Training, Vietnam. He is also working as an adjunct lecturer and researcher at the VNU University of Education, Hanoi, Vietnam. His research interests include assessment, quality assurance, accreditation, higher education policy, leadership, management and human resource development in education. Mahsood Shah is Professor and inaugural Dean of Swinburne University of Technology, Australia (Sydney Campus). His areas of research include quality in higher education, measurement and enhancement of student experience, student retention and attrition, international education, private higher education, and widening student participation.
