Dagmar Leupold, Schriftstellerin, wurde 1955 in Niederlahnstein geboren. Studium der Komparatistik in Marburg, Tübingen und New York. Sie erhielt mehrere Auszeichnungen, u. a. den aspekte-Literaturpreis für das beste Prosa-Debüt 1992.
