Edyta Karaban is a Children's book illustrator and author. She was born and lives Wrocław, Poland and graduated from the University of Wrocław, majoring in art history. She has been illustrating books for several years. She has a cat at home who is often a source of inspiration, and she loves drawing animals and creating animal characters, sometimes giving them human traits and attributes. She lives in a city but always dreams of being closer to nature. Fortunately, there is a big park next to her home, which she visits daily. Baking cakes always cheers her up, and if she wasn't an illustrator, she would probably have made cakes and desserts for a living!
