Amish Country Threats Amish Country Justice #10 By Dana R. Lynn Lilah Schwartz's brother died saving her life and now someone is after her, and she has no idea who or why. Taking refuge with Levi Burkholder and his family wasn't her first choice but she has nowhere else to turn. As a former soldier, Levi has the needed skills to keep Lilah safe. And with a determined killer after her, he'll need all his skill and some divine intervention to keep them alive long enough to learn who is after them and who killed Jacob. Levi is dealing with the after-effects of his time in Afganistan, which adds another layer to who he is. His PTSD makes him think he isn't worthy of anyone. Lilah is dealing with her own guilt of being responsible for her brother's death and putting those around her in danger. As characters, they draw the reader into their story. Amish Country Threats keeps the reader in suspense almost the entirety of the book. And as to the guilty party that is not given away and there are plenty of possible suspects until the climax. The story is well-paced with no periods of dragging, the story is continually in motion keeping the reader engaged. Overall a good story with an unexpected twist or two along the way. I was provided a complimentary copy of this book with no expectations but that I provide my honest opinion. All thoughts expressed are my own.
