Optimus: Brave, gentle, and wise, but not perfect. Such a warm antidote to Michael Bay's bloodthirsty sociopath (whom I still like). This book just understands the Transformers. The art is vibrant and beautiful, juxtaposed with moments of shocking violence and bloodshed. Whether you're specifically an Optimus fan, Transformers fan, or just a plain old fan of good stories, I think you'll find something in Skybound's Transformers series to love.

the Transformers Energon series(and bundle)is poorly sorted. I cannot view them under the same catalogue. For example, volume 1 and volume 2 are two separated "series", and every issue before issue 9 is missing or cannot read in my region.

This is not your dad's Transformers. It can be pretty dark and bleak, but it still has the spirit of G1. albeit a little more mature.
