Nun, wer U-Boote der englischen Marine zerlegt, kann sie ja auch wieder herrichten und damit als Pirat sein Geld verdienen. Das spannende Geschehen - unter und über Wasser oder auch an Land - wird immer wieder abwechslungsreich aus den verschiedenen Blickwinkeln der Beteiligten beschrieben. Typisch englisch die Einstellung: Kein Verbrechen ist groß genug, solange alles sportlich abläuft und die anderen trifft.
