About the author

Dave Miller is a native of St. Louis, Mo., where he still lives with his wife and children. He brewed his first batch of homebrew in 1975. In 1981 he won the title Homebrewer of the Year when his Dutch Pilsner was judged Best of Show at the American Homebrewers Association national competition. That same year, his first book, Home Brewing for Americans, was published. He also authored Continental Pilsener (Brewers Publications, 1998). Dave is a charter member of the St. Louis Brews homebrewing club and served for two years as its vice president.
