David Wardlaw Scott (June 4, 1823 - April 13, 1901) was a Scots-born Congregationalist minister, poet, and author. He is noted in Zetetic circles for his final book Terra Firma, in which he attempted to demonstrate that the Earth is not a planet but a plane, largely based on Scriptural evidence. His work challenged prevailing scientific beliefs and invited readers to reconsider their understanding of our world.
