When a female military officer is found murdered under an overpass in the city of Tampa, the police chief assigns the case to the best. Unknown to Dan, the detectives and the case leads to a secret society, which is using the Russian Mafia, hitmen, rouge military officers, and a corrupt CIA official to carry out a deadly plot.

Richard Schmidt spent twenty-six years working as a detention deputy and a detention sergeant for the local Sheriff’s Office in his hometown. He also served in the United States Air Force on active duty in the security police field. He has experienced years of challenging experiences in the ever-challenging world of crime and criminals.
