The remedy the mayor came up with is that someone famous must die there. The Mayor’s solution is that it must be the Gunsmith. Now they must lure Clint Adams to town and have him killed in such a way that it will be huge news. Because Deadwood is so well known as the place where Wild Bill Hickok died, they’re going to call it “Deadville, the town where the Gunsmith died.”
