Die-cast models come ready-assembled and attractively finished, unlike kits that have to be built and painted before going on display. Many of the toy companies that made die-cast cars, trucks and buses also produced model aircraft – and still do. Acerca del autor
Born and raised in New Zealand. Paul Brent Adams is a lifelong aviation enthusiast and modeller, with an interest in most forms of transport, as well as films and television. His writing has appeared in British hobby magazines since 1981 and he has collected die-cast Star Cars since the 1990s.
