In dieser Monographie wird die Entstehung des Christentums aus dem Judentum als Paradigmenwechsel in Thomas Kuhns Sinn des Wortes erklärt. Daraus wird die Konsequenz gezogen, dass die Grundlage der Christologie die Theologie der frühen christlichen Gemeinde ist, in der dieser Wechsel vollzogen wird, nicht schon die Verkündigung des »historischen « Jesus. Durch die Verwendung des Begriffs des Paradigmenwechsels wird gleichzeitig die Legitimität des christlichen wie auch des jüdischen Paradigmas gesichert.
