Dr. Dirk Simons promovierte bei Prof. Dr. Hermann Jahnke am Lehrstuhl für Betriebswirtschaftslehre, insbesondere Controlling und Produktionswirtschaft, der Universität Bielefeld. Er ist derzeit wissenschaftlicher Assistent am dortigen Lehrstuhl.
