Along with the Biblical Story of creation, the book provides simple activities to reinforce the child’s understanding and appreciation of what God has done for them. The book includes activity pages to encourage them to “find” some of the things God has created. For example, there are pictures of different objects, and the child will identify a specific object.
Children have an opportunity to acknowledge their understanding of what they have heard or what they have read. Also included is a page for the child to draw something God has made.
“Our Great Big World” is a review for those with whom it is familiar or an introduction to others. Also, it will be helpful to any child or adult who may have difficulties.
