About the author

Dr. Gaurav Saini is an accomplished educator and researcher with over 15 years of dedicated teaching experience. He currently serves as an Assistant Professor at the Department of Mechanical Engineering, Panjab University SSG Regional Centre, Hoshiarpur—an appointment he has held since 2012. Previously, Dr. Saini contributed to academia as an Assistant Professor at Baba Banda Singh Bahadur Engineering College, Fatehgarh Sahib, from 2010 to 2012. He is Master of Engineering from the PEC University of Technology, Chandigarh, further advancing his scholarly pursuits with a Ph.D. from Punjab Technical University, Kapurthala. His academic journey includes clearing the prestigious GATE examination in 2007, marking the beginning of his professional engagement in higher education.Dr. Saini has authored 17 papers in peer‑reviewed journals and has presented many research articles at national and international conferences.

Dr. Jodh Singh has over two decades of experience in mechanical engineering with specialisation in welding, nano fluidics, and thermal systems. He currently serves as faculty at Dr. SSB UICET, Panjab University, Chandigarh (India), where he teaches both technical subjects and value-oriented courses, including Universal Human Values. He is a life member of esteemed professional bodies including the Institution of Engineers (India), High Energy Material Society of India, International Association of Engineers and has contributed to curriculum development, faculty training, reviews for international journals, and Govt initiatives. He is a core committee member of the Swachh Bharat Abhiyan at Panjab University, Chandigarh. Dr. Singh has actively organised and attended conferences, seminars, faculty development programs, and values-driven workshops. His academic contributions include mentoring the students, numerous peer-reviewed publications, conference presentations, and patents in the areas of utility-based product design. His work and research interests reflect a deep commitment to value-based education, aligning closely with the principles of Green Engineering.

Ms. Arti Chouksey, a distinguished researcher and academician in Department of Civil Engineering, Deenbandhu Chhotu Ram University of Science and Technology. Her area of Research is in the field of Sustainable Construction Materials, Sustainable Construction Practices, Geographical Information Systems, and Accident Analysis. She published many research papers in renowned journals indexed by Web of Science, Scopus, and Springer, such as Materials Research Express, Concrete and Computer, Evergreen, Polymer and Composites, etc. Besides this, she presented various research papers in prestigious conferences organized by various IITs and NITs.

Dr. Shalom Akhai has established himself as a prominent figure in the field of engineering, leveraging over 17 years of academic, research, and technical experience to make significant contributions. With a robust portfolio of over 100+ publications in prestigious journals, conferences and book chapters, Dr. Akhai demonstrates a commitment to advancing knowledge through scholarly work. Additionally, he has authored/co-authored several technical textbooks, further solidifying his expertise and dedication to education in the field. Beyond academia, Dr. Akhai's impact extends to real-world applications through the establishment of IGNIS Technical Solutions, a consultancy firm to translate his knowledge into real-world applications. His skills have resulted in the successful development of over 50 + patents, underscoring his innovative approach and influence in shaping the engineering landscape.
