Worship is the most important relationship an individual can have with his creator. It is the single action that defines his Islam, so why is a discussion of it so convoluted? Hatim ibn Arif ibn Nasir as Sharif from Aala Awn which traces its lineage to the Prophet descending from Hasan. He was born in Taif in (1385H/1965CE) and was accepted to Umm ul Qura University in 1404H/1983CE and graduated with a degree in al Kitab was Sunnah in 1408H/1987CE. He then went on to complete his Master’s (1415H/1994CE) and Doctoral (1421H/2000CE) degrees in the same University.
To date he has authored over 25 works and critical editions and is a teacher at Umm ul Qura University. He has also held a number of titles and positions including:

- Consultative Assembly of Saudi Arabia for two separate terms
