About the author

Dr. Manish Kumar is currently working as an Additional Professor in the Department of Pharmacology at the Indira Gandhi Institute of Medical Sciences (IGIMS) in Patna, Bihar, India (Bharat). Dr Kumar has vast experience of more than fifteen years in the field of academics and research. He is a resource faculty member of the Regional Centre- Medical Education Unit (RC-MET) of IGIMS, Patna, Bihar, which provides courses about medical education to faculties of different medical colleges. Dr. Kumar has a distinguished academic achievement record with over seventy research articles published in different national and international journals. Dr. Kumar obtained his MBBS degree from the Mahatma Gandhi Memorial Medical College & Hospital, Jamshedpur, Jharkhand, India and completed his postgraduation degree in Pharmacology & Therapeutics from Patna Medical College & Hospital, Patna, Bihar, India.

Mrs. Ritika Raj is currently pursuing a PhD Pharmacology course in the Department of Pharmacology at the Indira Gandhi Institute of Medical Sciences (IGIMS), located in Patna, Bihar, India. Mrs. Raj has vast experience of more than eleven years in the field of academics, research and industrial pharmacy. She has obtained her Bachelor of Pharmacy degree and Master of Pharmacy degree (Industrial Pharmacy) from the renowned Manipal College of Pharmaceutical Sciences, Manipal, Karnataka, India.

Dr. Sanjeev Kumar is pursuing his M.D. in the Department of Biochemistry at the Indira Gandhi Institute of Medical Sciences (IGIMS) in Patna, Bihar, India (Bharat). With seven years of clinical experience, he served as a medical officer in charge (GDMO) at DOS/East Central Railway, India, and as a Nodal medical officer at Sadar Hospital, Jamui, Bihar. Dr. Sanjeev Kumar obtained his MBBS degree from the Indira Gandhi Institute of Medical Sciences (IGIMS) in Patna, Bihar, India. He also completed an Advanced Certification Course in Dermatology, recognised by the British Association of Dermatologists (NHS/HEE). He is a recipient of the prestigious “Rastriya Pratishtha Puraskar” award presented by the Wellness Foundation. Dr. Sanjeev Kumar has a distinguished record of academic achievement, having participated in numerous national and international scientific conferences. He has authored research papers and presented posters at these conferences. Dr. Sanjeev Kumar has over seven publications, four design patents, and has even authored a six book. He has also secured a grant (ICMR (STS-02473)) for his research.

Dr. G. Neethirajan currently holds the position of Dean-Research in the KGCAS, KGiSL campus, Coimbatore, TN. He did a Ph.D. in Bio-Medical Science from the Aravind Medical Research Foundation, specialising in Ophthalmic Genetics. His research primarily focuses on the genetics of developmental malformations in the human eye, particularly Aniridia and microphthalmia/anophthalmia. He identified several key genes, including PAX6, SOX2, and OTX2, focusing on Paired Box Gene 6 (PAX6). He discovered many novel gene modifications in sporadic and familial cases, with most of the data submitted to the PAX6 database at Edinburgh University, UK. He completed a postdoctoral fellowship in the Department of Ophthalmology at the Hebrew University Medical Centre in Jerusalem, Israel. With 15 years of Research and 15 years of academic experience, He have supervised 20 M.Phil-Students, published many international and national Research papers, and hold 5 national and 2 international patents.

Mr. Akhilesh Kumar Sahu has a qualified M.Pharmacy in the Pharmaceutics branch from Royal College of Pharmacy, Raipur CSVTU Bhilai, and a B. Pharmacy from Raigarh College of Pharmacy, Raigarh, affiliated to CSVTU BHILAI, C.G. India. He has guided many students in B. Pharmacy and D. Pharmacy. He has two publications and one book.
