About the author

“Books are my life!” says Dr. Sherry L. Meinberg. “I read books, I write books, I edit books, I share books, I donate books.” To prove it, she wears sweatshirts that announce that fact: “I eat, sleep, and breathe books,” “I cannot live without books,” “As soon as I finish this chapter,” “Lead me not into temptation, especially bookstores,” “I’d rather be reading,” “Knowledge is power,” “Careful, or you’ll end up in my novel,” and such. Even her car license plate says READ4ME, and the license plate holder says “Too many books, too little time.” She is an educator for over fifty years (as a K-12 teacher, specialist, librarian, coauthor of district guides, core-adjunct professor, and supervisor of student teachers). She is now outside the cloistered walls of a classroom and teaches to the whole wide world through her writing. She is an author of seventeen nonfiction books. Meinberg has been featured on local, national, and international radio and television shows and has been honored with well over a hundred of awards. She is all about raising awareness and opening doors. She is all about getting the word out.
