About the author
Deserae and Dustin Brady are the parents of Leila Brady (a girl) and Nugget Brady (a dog). They live in Cleveland, Ohio. Dustin wants to buy a turtle. Deserae does not.
April Brady grew up in Maine and has been bringing her imagination to life in pencil since she was a wee lass. Teaming up with her family to tell stories is her favorite thing to do. When she isn’t drawing, she gets to have new adventures with her own little girls (the real Leila’s cousins).
