This is book one in The Royal of Avalone and it starts Victoria and Cormac's story. When Victoria's father died his will states that each of his daughter's must marry before they are thirty five and then have a baby with in five years of being married or else they will loose there inheritance so as Victoria has only six months before her birthday she has to find someone to marry as there is no way that all her father's money will be given to her mother's family after the way that they were all treated. Cormac is guardian to his brother after there parents died but he is up to his neck in bills but what he didn't expect was to rescue Victoria who is a royal from being attacked and that starts a chain reaction that will change his life as he knows it. When Victoria asks Cormac for help will be say yes or will be say no and walk away. What a brilliant start to a new series and I can't wait to read the next book to see what will happen next. This is the first book that I have read by E. V. Darcy but definitely not the last as it was so well written and definitely worth reading. I really enjoyed reading this book and am looking forward to seeing what happens next. It’s a novel idea (no pun intended!) with twists and keeps you guessing but not too much! A great read for any fans of romance books. A shorter book than many which allowed me to read it in just a few hours I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review.

A new author and I love the way the story is written. The chemistry is amazing between these two and the storyline is awesome and I truly enjoyed reading this story and I look forward to reading the next in the series. I recommend to everyone I meet. E. V. Darcy is a former high school teacher with a Bachelor of Arts in Imaginative Writing from Liverpool John Moores University.

She lives in the north of England with her husband and rather large–and very spoilt–dog, Jabba, who she rescued in 2015.
