Ephesians 4:10-13 tells us that as Jesus ascended to heaven, He gave various gifts to humanity for the perfecting and equipping of the body of Christ. Author and ordained minister Brenda Johnson passionately follows this mandate. In Edifying The Body of Christ, the Holy Spirit guides her. Brenda Johnson is a licensed and ordained minister of the gospel of Jesus Christ at the Anointed Word Kingdom Church in Richton Park, Illinois where Dr. Linda A. Powell is the Pastor and Teacher. For many years Minister Johnson has been a committed worker in the areas of Evangelism, Outreach, Christian Education and Praise and Worship. She has been a career educator in the public school arena for over forty years. She began creative writing as a hobby at age sixteen. The writing that she does now however, is strictly born out of the abundance of God’s grace and her desire to please God by building up the Body of Christ unto all edification.
