Rovina Cai is an illustrator, based in Melbourne, Australia. She graduated from the MFA Illustration as Visual Essay program at the School of Visual Arts in New York City. Her awards include the 2015 Illustrators Australia: Gold in Book category, the 2015 Spectrum 22: Gold in Institutional category, and the 2016 Spectrum 23: Gold in Book category. She won the 2018 Children's Book Council of Australia Book of the Year Awards, Crichton Award for Debut Illustrator with her book, Tintinnabula, written by Margo Lanagan.
