It’s getting spooky in Point Pleasant. This one is just wow. I mean there’s so much packed into this installment it’s hard to know what good thing to highlight over another. Answers are starting to come about the coven and the curse. There’s another murder to solve and this one is very different and very personal. Another enjoyable read in the Williams Witch series. The mystery was interesting, and I liked how it took us to the past, as well as how it connected to the cursed coven in the present time. There was more of a focus on the magical aspects of the cursed coven plotline in this book, and I felt that it added a darker feel to most of the story, so that it felt less like a cozy mystery to me.

This this was great. I loved the new dynamic with Chris and their relationship. The Council guys are terrifying. I can't imagine having those sorts of powers. I really felt bad for Miranda. It seemed her whole life was one bad turn after another. I received an advance review copy for free, and I am leaving this review voluntarily.
