About this ebook

In a centuries-long war, a girl who speaks to gods must assassinate a king to stop the bloodshed.

In the thrilling start to Emily A. Duncan's devastatingly Gothic Something Dark and Holy trilogy, Wicked Saints, three paths entwine in a shadowy world where beauty and brutality meet. A girl who can speak to gods must save her people without destroying herself. A prince in danger must decide who to trust. And a boy with a monstrous secret waits in the wings.

Together, they must navigate a world of spilled blood and mysterious saints, where a forbidden romance threatens to tip the scales between dark and light. This epic fantasy blends magic, romance, and Slavic influences in a tale perfect for fans of dark and romantic fantasy.

This edition uses deckle edges; the uneven paper edge is intentional.

my actual review exceeds the provided character limit but you can find it on my site Once Upon a Time I Read a Book dotcom. This was a rollercoaster ride of emotions for me and I absolutely love this book. I now own multiple copies of it because oops, favourite books are one of my autistic obsessions AND I CAN'T HAVE JUST ONE COPY. I was a part of the blog tour launch and received an ARC from the publisher for reviewing purposes.

Contrary to what the blurb suggests, Nadya is not the main character throughout the book. No, she becomes a side character and a mere love interest in her own story when she starts a romance with a boy. Just no.
