Brooke is a good character. She needs more self-confidence in some ways, but knows her worth as a person. She is open and kind and caring and responsible to those around her and in her orbit. Gabriel is protective and strong and capable and looks out for those around him, especially his daughters and now Brooke. The writing is well done. There is mystery and suspense and light action. Their relationship is a slow burn and closed door. The book is easy and enjoyable. I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review.

I thought this story was written well, had good characters and it held my attention from start to finish. I thought Gabriel and Brooke were relatable characters and I enjoyed finding out about their pasts. I enjoyed seeing the connection between them grow and how the danger, suspense, mystery and investigation couldn't stop their feelings for one another growing or them acting on them, I thought they made a really good couple and I hope to see more of them during this series. I am looking forward to seeing where this series goes and think it's a good start to a new series from this author. I wanted a quick read but also a good story behind it and Fearless Encounter delivered, I loved the main characters and the development of the relationship. A slow burn, spicy, suspenseful, action page turner that had me on the edge of my seat and I couldn’t put it down. A great introduction to a new to me author and I highly recommend this book, you won’t be disappointed. I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review.
