Very good feels with this story with Shelby and Declan finding their hea with a little drama and suspense just to keep us reading. I received an advance review copy for free, and I am leaving this review voluntarily

Shelby Baptiste fled her wedding when she saw her fiancé screwing another woman at her wedding. She found herself with a broken-down car in the rain, and Shelby was rescued by Declan Callahan, her former boyfriend, who she ran out on ten years prior. They got stranded in an old hunting cabin, and while the storm raged around them, they were forced to talk about what happened between them. They realized they still had feelings for each other, and this was their second chance at finding love.

Super hot romance, all grown up! Shelby is having the worst day for sure, but it keeps getting worse even to the point of being life-threatening. Good thing Declan happened by at the right time - but that's one of the bad things, right? Whew! I really loved the chemistry between these two! All those years apart couldn't dim the light they shared, and though I didn't like the reason why they split in the first place, I could understand it in light of how young they were when it happened. This story has everything - sizzling attraction, intense scenes, an abundance of dirty talk, a heartwarming family, a remote cabin that doesn't even have the one bed, a huge monkey-wrench thrown into the mix, and a wonderful chance to catch up with all the Callahan siblings as they each contribute to Declan and Shelby's journey to their HEA. Oh - and did I mention a secret, atypical career? I absolutely loved that part of it, and it was revealed in just the most perfect manner! I absolutely adored this story. It's probably my favorite of the series, and I honestly loved each and every one of them along the way. Highly recommended for anyone who loves contemporary cowboy stories. I voluntarily reviewed an ARC of this book.
