About this ebook

Almost two years ago, Ethan Starling, a New York City businessman, moved to small town Rockville, Rhode Island to begin a simple life for his son. And so far he had. He bought the old Inn and had successfully turned it into a Bed and Breakfast.  He has a steady partner in Jack Redmond, who was helping in raising Ethan Junior, his son with him. But Ethan’s best friend Carlos is coming up to finally meet Jack, and it makes Ethan nervous in many ways. His best friend had a tendency to get in the way of his serious relationships.

Jack felt at peace with his past. Now he could finally bury Red Jackie deep inside of him, and let go of the trauma of his childhood. Jack was looking forward to the future for the first time in his life. But he could tell that Carlos was up to no good during his visit to the Inn. Ethan and EJ gave Jack a second chance at life, and he wasn’t going to do everything in his power to keep it that way.

Carlos Hernandez had an agenda: To remind Ethan that no matter who he was currently dating, it was always going to be the two of them at the end. Jack’s presence in Ethan’s life was a mire bump in the road.

As Ethan deals with his past, Jack realized that keeping Red Jackie at bay was going to be harder than he thought. Will Jack and Ethan make it through Carlos’s intentional visit and get to their happily ever after?

About the author

Wife, mother, partner, daughter, sister, friend, social worker, life skills coach and part-time erotic romance novelist, Eskay Kabba finds the complexity of human nature and creates romantic and erotic love stories. The characters reflect the notion that no one is all good or all bad, but we are all just trying to find love in hard places. Eskay pens erotic romance novels that celebrate the LGBTQ community, people of color and interracial relationships. When not writing about the throes of passion, Eskay finds joy in spending time with her family and loved ones, reading dystopia and fantasy series, and binging a popular show from a streaming app.
