About the author

Eva Markert lives in Germany and in the Netherlands. She is a retired teacher of English, French and German as a foreign language. She is also a state-certified translator. In addition, she has some experience in proofreading and editing. Eva Markert translates from English, French and Dutch into German. She is also a writer herself and writes books for children and young readers as well as novels and short stories for adults.She published most of her texts as an independent author. Some short stories, however, appeared in various anthologies. Two Christmas books for children were published in a small publishing house.
