About the author
Fernando Vallejo nació en Medellín, Colombia. Estudió filosofía y letras en universidades de Bogotá y dirección de cine en el Centro Experimental de Cinematografía de Roma. Vivió gran parte de su vida en México, donde dirigió tres películas y escribió la mayoría de sus libros, algunos de los cuales han sido traducidos a múltiples idiomas. En 2018 regresó a Colombia para establecerse en Medellín, y allí ha escrito las Memorias de un hijueputa. El gran amor de su vida son los animales y su única causa es su defensa.
