Dr. Savaş Çevik is an Associate Professor in Department of Economics at the Selcuk University in Turkey. He received his M.S. and Ph.D. degrees in public finance from Marmara University. He has been a visiting scholar at the University of Texas at Dallas. He teaches public finance, public economics and tax law and policy, while his research interests are in public economics, politics and economics of taxation and behavioral economics.
