Excerpts: His fingers fumbled as they tried to loosen the rope around his wrists. If he wanted to be free he had to feel his way out of the ropes since there was no light around except the faint glow from the half-moon. He was able to see enough to distinguish that he was tied up on a train track. The revelation itself didn't ease any of his fears. Depending on the time it was the late-night train would soon be passing and he wanted to be nowhere nearby when it did. He squirmed around more determined as he tried his best to break free. The ropes on his legs were tied so tightly that they seemed to dig into his flesh. The loud cry of a nearby wolf caused his eyes to nearly bulge out of his head. His grunting had come to an abrupt end. His ears picked up footsteps that were making their way through the forest. It sounded like several creatures. As if his circumstances weren't bad enough, his vision was starting to go out of focus.
