Lovemore Togarasei is a Professor of Theology and Religion at the University of Botswana, where he teaches courses in Biblical Studies and Theology. He is also associated with the Research Institute of Religion and Theology at the University of South Africa as a Visiting Research Professor. Professor Togarasei has researched and published in the area of the bible and African Christianity addressing such issues as masculinities, HIV and AIDS, health and healing, politics and the environment. His most recent publication is “Modern/Charismatic Pentecostalism as some form of ‘religious’ secularisation in Africa” in Studia Historiae Ecclesiasticae (2015).
Ezra Chitando is a Professor in History and Phenomenology of Religion at the University of Zimbabwe and Theology Consultant on HIV and AIDS for the World Council of Churches. He has published in the areas of religion and HIV, gender, politics, security, methodology and other areas.
