About the author

DI Dr. Franziska Hesser, MSc., is leader of the research group Sustainable Innovation and Impact Assessment at Wood K plus—a research organisation in the field of wood materials and processing technology—and lecturer at the University of Natural Resources and Life Sciences Vienna. Her research ambitions focus on sustainability assessment of bio-based product systems during the R&D phase. In combination, research on innovation diffusion and market analysis of mainly wood-based innovations build the fields of expertise.
