Acerca de este libro electrónico

Guru Nanak, the founder and the first Guru of Sikhism, though born in a kshatriya (warrior) family, evinced interest in divine subjects from early childhood. "There is no Hindu, there is no Muslim" were his words that inspired him to establish 'Sikhism', a religion that incorporated the best of both religions. The followers of 'Sikhism' are called 'Sikhs' who are God-fearing and devoted to the service of the people. His birthplace, Talwandi, renamed as 'Nanakana Sahib' in present-day Pakistan' is a sacred site for Sikhs all over the world.

This title tells you the life story of Guru Nanak, revered by Hindus as well as Muslims, which is an inspiring example of the practice of truth, love and humility. 'The bread episode' narrated in this book enlightens each of us to lead an honest life.

This is part of the spectacular WILCO PICTURE LIBRARY (WPL), slated to be a 500 plus titles series, pioneering the innovative way of enlightening on various subjects in a fun-filled way via a comic format artwork, full of colorful illustrations along with simple but interesting narration and dialogues, thereby making story-telling and enjoyable experience.
