This book makes no attempt to express every opinion nor to give references to research papers. It is not a book for the consultant in rheumatology. It is written for the final year student and General Practitioner, so that it can be read in sections or cover to cover. Every effort has been made to keep out unessential detail yet to give a balanced view on any problem likely to arise.
