About the author
Prof. Dr. em. Gerd Fischer war viele Jahre Professor für Mathematik an der Universität Düsseldorf. Er ist jetzt als Gastprofessor an der Fakultät für Mathematik der TU München tätig. Gerd Fischer ist Autor zahlreicher erfolgreicher Lehrbücher.
