About this ebook

On the edge of Tabwell lies a forest where the dark secrets of the past wait to be uncovered...

It all began when Jenny Adams first dreamed of a young girl imprisoned in a dark attic. Now, over six years later, she's back where the nightmares started.

Mosswood has been transformed into a successful adventure park, and it is there Jenny meets troubled, flame-haired teen Bailey Rosales, and Cody Nelson, a seven-year-old who has some very special friends. Dead friends.

Why is Dennis Blakely, the park manager, tormented by visions of his own horrific demise, and why is an ex-councillor warning them to stay out of the forest at all costs?

Once again, Jenny finds herself calling on the spirit of Amelia Root in the search for answers, but it is a search that leads the whole family into a terrifying confrontation with Tabwell's past and the secrets that lurk beyond the dark waters of Mosswood's lake.

✩✩✩✩✩ Mosswood, the final book of the Dark Waters Trilogy, by Graham West, has lived up to its potential! From the first descriptions of the 7-year-old with an unusual gift to the aging Sebastian, West’s abilities to draw portraits of complex characters excels. We are reintroduced to Jenny’s family, the dramas of their lives, and the return to Mosswood, now a highly desirable holiday resort, where something still lurks in the darkness. And it is a malevolent force to be reckoned with. At times, this is a deeply distressing read as we encounter many problems of our times, including suicide, prejudice, and intolerance, all met with normal human reactions of disbelief and bias and eventual triumph. Which ties directly into the dark energies that the family must deal with. This is a spellbinding page-turner that grabs the imagination and threatens to take the reader into the forest and over the edge! I highly recommend this book, really didn’t want it to end. Like so many books written about the paranormal, I was afraid the conclusion would leave the reader wondering what could possibly happen next, but no. West has a surprise ending, one I’d never have guessed. Well done! He is very much done with this enthralling series and ready to move on to his next projects. I’m waiting now to hear the adventures of his children’s tale, Peter Pattison and the Prophet’s Pen—for my granddaughter, of course. 😉
