About this ebook

Cheryl tries hard to make the most out of the life she chose with her husband, Jerry.

But it's not easy.

Not when Jerry thinks he's smarter than everyone else.

Including Cheryl.

At least she has her gin and tonics and HGTV.

But when Jerry comes up with a scheme to cash-in on his life insurance policy, Cheryl comes up with a plan of her own.

About the author

Gregory Payette writes crime fiction and mysteries, and is the author of the Henry Walsh Private Investigator Series.

He was born in chilly-but-beautiful Rhode Island, but today lives in Charlotte, North Carolina with his wife, kids, and Jake, his Jack Russel Terrier mix.

His Henry Walsh novels are based in Jacksonville and Fernandina Beach, Florida…and there’s a good chance one day you’ll find him retired down there, soaking in the warmth of the sunshine state.

Gregory has held quite a few jobs and careers throughout his life. He’s been a bartender, a DJ, a deck builder, a knife salesman, an ice cream scooper, a pizza man, a web and graphic designer, a custom closet builder, a handyman, a car stereo salesman…

But he spent a good part of his adult life working as a copywriter, with a fair amount of that time spent working in the fundraising world, raising money for nonprofits.

As an author, his first two books were nonfiction. But when he realized he could spend his days telling lies and making up stories people could read and enjoy…he switched to writing fiction.

He writes crime stories and mysteries that are fun to read and keep the pages turning.
