After the Messenger of Allah sallallaahu Alaihi wa Sallam took Bai'at, he said to the Ansar: "Go back to your places." Al-Abbas bin Ubadah bin Nadhlah said to the Messenger of Allah sallallaahu Alaihi wa Sallam: "By Allah, if you like, we will come to the people in Mina with our swords." Muhammad Shallallaahu Alaihi wa Sallam said: "Don't! Go home to your places." Then they went home, got into bed and slept in it until morning came. The next day, the Quraish leaders came to their place. The Quraysh leader said: "O people of Al-Khazraj, we heard that you have met Muhammad to join you and you have pledged allegiance to him to fight us. By Allah, you are a tribe that we really hate." Those who were still polytheists spontaneously said that this would not happen. At that time, they looked at each other. Then people stood up including AlHarits bin Hisham bin Al-Mughirah Al-Makhzumi who was wearing new sandals. Ka'ab said to him: "O Abu Jabir, you are one of our leaders, don't you want to pledge allegiance to Muhammad?"
