About the author

Dr. Hao-Shang Ma received the PhD degree from Institute of Computer and Communication Engineering, National Cheng Kung University in July 2022. Currently, he is an Assistant Professor in Department of Computer Science and Information Engineering at National Taichung University of Science and Technology. Since January 2021, he is the Young Professionals Secretary of the Institution of Engineering and Technology (IET) - Taipei Network. Since April 2023, he is a guest editor of Special Issue of Sensors Journal. His research interests include Artificial Intelligence, Data Mining, Social Network Analysis, Recommender Systems, and Nature Language Processing.

Dr. Hwa-Young Jeong received the MS degree of computer engineering in 1994 and the Ph.D of computer engineering in 2004 from Kyung Hee University, Korea. Currently, he is an assoiate professor in Humanitas College at Kyung Hee University, Seoul, South Korea. He is a member of the Standard Words Committee in Ministry of Information and Communication, Republic of Korea. And he has worked on the editorial board for the journal of Korea Society for Internet Information from 2004. From 1994 to 1999, he worked for Aju System Co., and CNA Research Inc., as a system and software engineer, and he had made GUI(Graphical User Interface) programs to control the semiconductor testing machine which was called IC Test Handler. He was an assistant professor, Dept of E-Business of Yewon Art University in 2000~2005. He has served for many international conferences/workshops as an International Program Committee Chair from 2012 to now. His research area includes design of system software, multimedia system and software, software and application with security, e/u-learning system and so on.

Dr. Yu-Wei Chan received the B.S. and M.S. degrees in information engineering from Tamkang University, Taiwan, in 1997 and 2001, respectively, and the Ph.D. degree in computer science from National Tsing Hua University (NTHU), Hsinchu, Taiwan, in 2013. He was an Associate Professor with the department of Computer Science and Information Management, Providence University (PU), Taiwan, from 2016-2024. Currently, he has joined as an Associate Professor in the Bachelor Degree Program of Artificial Intelligence at National Taichung University of Science and Technology. His current research interests include cloud computing, edge computing, deep learning applications, and game theoretic wireless networking.

Dr. Hsuan-Che Yang received the Ph.D. in Computer Science from Tamkang University and possesses several professional certifications, including Project Management Professional (PMP), Internet of Things Expert, AREMOS Databank Applications Specialist, Sun Certified Web Component Developer, and Sun Certified Java Programmer. Throughout his academic career, he has taught at various institutions, including Tungnan University (2007-2010), Shih Hsin University (2011-2013), National Taipei University of Business (2014-2017), and Soochow University (2018-2019). He is currently an assistant professor at Chihlee University of Technology since 2020. His research interests span project management, object-oriented programming, artificial intelligence, and machine learning.
