कवि श्री हरी सिंह ‘जिज्ञासु’ ने अनेक काव्य कृतियों की रचना की है। आपकी समस्त काव्य मणियों का उद्देश्य ईमानदारी को उजागर करना, भ्रष्टाचार, आतंकवाद, धर्मान्धता, भेदभाव का प्रबल विरोध करना, देश के अमर शहीदों की शहादत का सारगर्भित चित्रण करना, देश के अमर जवान, देश के मेहनतकश इंसानों के योगदान का उल्लेख करना, महापुरुषों के कार्याें, विचारों का चित्रण करना व समाज में गिरते नैतिक मूल्यों को उठाने के लिए नौजवानों का आह्वान करना तथा शोषण-दमन का विरोध कर एक समता-मूलक समाज का निर्माण करना एवं आपस में सद्भावना भाईचारा स्थापित करना है। जिससे समाज व राष्ट्र में असन्तोष व्याप्त न हो तथा एक सभ्य व विकसित समाज एवं राष्ट्र का निर्माण सम्भव हो । राष्ट्र एकता के सजग प्रहरी, अनेकता में एकता भारत की विशेषता को आधार मानकर साहित्य सृजन करने वाले, भारतीय सभ्यता और संस्कृति को अपनाने पर बल देने वाले प्रसिद्ध कवि हरी सिंह ‘जिज्ञासु’ का रचना संसार अद्भुत एवं विशाल है ।
