About this ebook

About This Book:- Hope as the Heart of Feelings.

Hope is the emotion at the very center of human experience—a quiet yet powerful presence that directs our emotions, informs our choices, and lights the way forward at life's darkest hour. Hope as the Heart of Feelings delves deep into hope—its part in our emotional lives, our relations to others, and the relations of ourselves and others within society. Drawing on the timeless wisdom of philosophy, the rigor of psychology, and the nuances of lived experience, this book presents an intricate tapestry of insights into one of humanity's most essential and mysterious emotions. The book, written across 14 comprehensive chapters, explores the many faces of hope, its interaction with emotions, and the transformative powers of hope during times of despair and renewal. From the exploration of hope's fundamental essence, the book moves through historical roots in philosophical thought, its impact on personal relationships, and its role as a catalyst for societal and cultural change.

The text navigates the duality of hope, its ability to inspire and uplift but also to disappoint when expectations go unmet.

It shines light on how hope impacts human behavior, shapes our motivations, and sustains our dreams, even amid adversity. With deep philosophical inquiry and relatable examples, the book addresses universal themes such as the crisis of hopelessness, the importance of emotional resilience, and the ways in which hope provides purpose and meaning in life. With the aspect of global perspectives, Hope as the Heart of Feelings draws on various cultural and understanding sources of hope-from Eastern spirituality to Western thought and collective societies. Then, in relation to such modern challenges as professional loss, or even global catastrophe, the book considers a role that hope can be given to them and supplies practical ways to help support and restore hope in all people. This book is more than just a study on hope. It is an invitation to engage with it, see it as a companion in our struggles, a beacon in the darkest of times, and a foundation to look towards a brighter future.

Whether you are someone searching for inspiration, a philosophy and psychology student, or merely a person looking to connect again with the might of hope, this book serves as a guide on understanding, harnessing, and cherishing hope as the heart of all feelings.

About the author

My name is Harsh Wardhan Soni, and I was born on April 18, 2000, in Jaipur, Rajasthan, India. Throughout my life, I have been driven by a profound commitment to knowledge, an unyielding pursuit of excellence, and an unwavering desire to uplift and empower others. My journey has led me across diverse fields—from finance and taxation to education, psychology, mentalism, and spiritual wisdom—each of which has enriched my understanding of the human experience and shaped the person I am today.

Early Life and Education

I completed my schooling at Kendriya Vidyalaya No. 1, Bajaj Nagar, Jaipur, and went on to pursue a Bachelor of Commerce (B.Com) degree from Rajasthan University. This education laid the foundation for my future pursuits in finance and business. Driven to deepen my expertise, I embarked on the rigorous paths of Chartered Accountancy (CA) and Company Secretary (CS), each representing a unique journey.

During my studies, I joined one of the most prestigious CA firms, where I gained extensive experience in the field of finance. I had the opportunity to conduct audits for some of the most prominent firms, public sector companies, and banks, specializing in tax audits and GST audits. This hands-on experience significantly enriched my understanding of finance. However, life had other plans for me. While pursuing my career, I faced a devastating challenge: I lost my vision in both eyes.

This was a profound and difficult turning point. Though it became increasingly challenging to continue in the finance field, I realized that this was not the end of my journey; rather, it marked a new beginning. With the considerable experience I had gained, I turned my focus toward teaching. My deep passion for education drove me to help students who lacked sufficient funds or those eager to grasp complex concepts. I began teaching students in classes 11 and 12, as well as those pursuing CA, CS, and even doctorate programs.

I had the privilege of working as a guest faculty member at Kendriya Vidyalaya No. 1, where I was appointed to teach students. I dedicated myself to this role, striving to make a positive impact during my tenure. After completing my time at the school, I continued to teach independent students who were hungry for knowledge and understanding.

One day, a friend read one of my books that I had physically written in a notebook. After reading it, he encouraged me to publish my content as a book on platforms like Amazon and Google Play Books. Inspired by his belief in my work, I embarked on my journey as an author. I began writing on diverse topics, and to my amazement, my books resonated with readers worldwide—in Australia, Canada, the USA, India, and France. I gained a solid readership, and people began to appreciate the content I shared, motivating me to continue writing on various subjects.

Before losing my vision, I was also deeply involved in the field of IT. I developed skills in website development using HTML, JavaScript, and CSS, which fueled my passion for programming. My interest in artificial intelligence led me to learn Python, and I started working on an ambitious AI-based project that aimed to integrate into wearable glasses to help visually impaired individuals "see" using object recognition. This project was close to my heart, but during its development, I lost my vision completely.

My Commitment to Education

Education, for me, is more than a career; it is a calling. As someone deeply committed to the pursuit of knowledge, I find great joy in sharing what I have learned with others. Over the years, I have guided and mentored over 100 students, many of whom are pursuing their own paths in accounting, commerce, and business. My teaching philosophy is simple: make complex ideas accessible and inspire a love for learning that transcends the classroom. I have taught students from diverse backgrounds, including undergraduates, CA aspirants, and even doctorate candidates, striving to create an atmosphere where knowledge becomes a source of empowerment.

One of my core beliefs is that “knowledge has no price, and a teacher does not engage in commerce.” In keeping with this ethos, I have never charged any fees for my educational services, as I believe that true education is a selfless act, meant to uplift and empower others rather than to generate financial gain. This philosophy has shaped my approach as a teacher, and I am honored to have created a community of learners who view knowledge as a sacred bond, rather than a transaction.

Expertise in Finance and Taxation

Finance and taxation have always fascinated me for their role in shaping businesses, industries, and economies. As a certified GST Practitioner, and with in-depth knowledge of Accounting, Auditing, GST, and Income Tax laws, I have had the privilege of working with clients across a range of sectors. My experience includes auditing large firms, public sector companies, and banks, as well as conducting complex tax and GST audits. This work has given me a nuanced understanding of financial regulations and business laws, positioning me as a trusted advisor and an industry leader. My dedication to excellence, meticulous attention to detail, and adherence to ethical standards have allowed me to set new benchmarks in this field, and I am continually inspired by the dynamic nature of finance and the opportunities it presents to serve others.

Exploring Psychology and Mentalism

Beyond finance and education, my interests extend into psychology and mentalism, fields that allow me to explore the depths of human behavior and thought. Through my work in these areas, I have had the privilege of positively impacting over 2,500 individuals facing challenges such as depression and despair. This work is deeply meaningful to me, as it reflects my commitment to mental well-being and my belief in the transformative power of empathy and understanding. By applying psychological principles and mentalism techniques, I strive to make a difference in the lives of those seeking guidance, creating a bridge to mental resilience and self-awareness.

A Journey into Spiritual Wisdom

In the domain of spiritual wisdom, I have been particularly drawn to the teachings of the Bhagavad Gita, a text that has offered me profound insights and guidance throughout my life. My exploration of the Gita goes beyond intellectual study; it is an endeavor to apply its timeless principles to daily life, offering practical wisdom to those who seek a deeper connection to spirituality. By conducting extensive discussions and teachings on this revered text, I aim to provide others with the tools to navigate life’s complexities and challenges with resilience, clarity, and purpose.

Becoming an Author

My journey as an author began with notebooks filled with questions, reflections, and insights—thoughts that would later evolve into published works. With the encouragement of a dear friend, I decided to bring these ideas to a broader audience. Through platforms like Amazon and Google Play Books, I began sharing my work, and I am grateful to have connected with readers across the globe, from the USA, Canada, Australia, and France to my home country of India. Each book I write reflects a facet of my journey and offers perspectives on self-discovery, personal growth, mentalism, and the cycles of life.

Looking Ahead

As I continue this journey, I am constantly reminded of the incredible potential within each of us to make a difference. I strive to leave an indelible mark not just in my professional fields but in the lives of those I encounter. My story is one of resilience, passion, and an unwavering commitment to continuous growth, and I am honored to share it with those who seek inspiration, knowledge, and connection.
